Prison Showdown by Jackie Brygel TV Week, Australia, 10th December 2005
When police officer Stuart went undercover in the prison where young Ramsay Street brothers Stingray and Dylan are inmates, he was determined to see justice served. As fans will know, Stingray (Ben Nicholas) and Dylan (Damien Bodie) are serving time for an armed robbery that Dylan was coerced into carrying out by the evil Roo (Richard Cawthorne), who's also behind bars. "At first, Stingray took on a tough guy persona in jail as a way of coping," Ben says. "He thought it was the best way to deal with it, so he acted all strong."
Now, a highly dramatic showdown is looming between the four young men, placing Dylan's life on the line! Earlier in the week, with his suspicions growing about Stu (Blair McDonough) - who's going by the name of Mick in the prison - Roo continues to bait him, both verbally and physically. It's clear that Stu is deeply concerned for he has a wire planted under his shirt and his cover will obviously be blown if that's revealed. And Stu is in deep trouble when Roo, sensing something is up, insists that he take off his top to prove he's not bugged. Not long after, Dylan finds himseld trapped in a cell with a knife-wielding Roo and his pals! Will the guards reach the cell in time?
