Homeward Bound "Erinsborough News", BBCi, 11th February 2005
Stingray has been put in an uncomfortable position by his pushy mum Janelle- she wants him to leave his friends and new family in Ramsay Street to move back to Colac with her.
However, it doesn't even seem like Janelle wants Stingray to come back because she misses him - instead it just seems like she could do with some extra cash if he got a job at the supermarket!
Ben Nicholas explained what his character was feeling, and the confusion he had dealing with his love for his mum and his new friends.
"Stingray is the spoilt one of the family, he always gets what he wants even though they aren't well off. Stingray's Mum always gives him what he wants, if she can, and he's definitely the favourite," he said.
"His mum wants Stingray to come back home to Colac because his Dad has left her again and she wants Stingray to earn money for her. She wants him to leave Erinsborough and the life that he's built, to get a job at the supermarket to give her some extra help financially. She's quite selfish in that respect although she does love Stingray."
