Scott the Pool Shark! "Erinsborough News", BBCi, 9th September 2004
Sindi and Toadie's plan to keep Stingray occupied revealed that Scott has a hidden talent; he is a pool shark.
Ben Nicholas, who plays Scott Stingray Timmins, explained how Scott ended up with a cue in his hand.
"Now that Scott had broken up with Serena, he was devoid of anything to do and he was really ratty and getting out of control again. Toadie and Sindi tried to devise a plan to try to channel Scott's energy," Ben explained. "They tried a few different things and eventually they found pool calmed him down and helped him concentrate."
When asked whether he has played a lot of pool in his time, Ben answered,
"Personally, I love pool! At Kym's farewell party I had a bit of a play."
According to Ben, he isn't as skilled at the game as his on-screen character.
"I'm not bad," he said. "I'm not great at it. I'm not a pool shark or anything, but I can play."
Hopefully, Stingray will find himself another girlfriend soon so that they can play a few games of pool together.
