Ben 12 Nov 2004 09:27 Hi Kutekestrel, thanks for your question's, I don't just have one fav person to work with I love working everyone but especially with the other kids, Kyal, Lara and Steph, I also have lots of fun with Susan and Cindi, they are amazing and we have a lot of fun in our scenes together. Harvey is great to work with. Fav film, Pirates Carribean,Matrix Thanks for all the great things you have to say on this site. Catch Ya next time.

Ben 17 Nov 2004 07:54 Hi there buddy, yeah I don't get to school that much about 3-4 hours a week only so I have to work at home and on set in between scenes, I'm basically ozzie but my dad has a little bit of greek in his family couple of generations back. Thanks man Ben

jennyfer 14 Nov 2004 21:18 Hey Ben! I'm Jenny and I really love acting, dancing, singing and all that, but I'm really really shy and find it difficult to join any clubs or anything. I was in the drama club in school last year which was ok becuase I knew the people, but I tried one out of school and it was terrible! Dancing and singing is impossible, I can't even do it around my parents or friends, let alone with strangers! Do you have any tips to help? and do you have a gf?! Youre by far the hottest guy in Neighbours!!

We have noticed you use the expression 'spigging' a lot in neighbours. We like it. And have tried to introduce it into university life here in England. We were just wondering do you use it in real life and what your dictionary definition would be?

Ben 12 Nov 2004 09:47 Hi Mel and Allie, Spiggin is a great word, i dont use it though but I have heard others say it. It can have mulitple meanings, its like a replacement swear word say maybe the S word, I cant really say much more than that on the this site but I'm sure you get the gyst of it. I thought the charactor sounded really funny and very different to anyone else on the show so I thought it would be great and lots of laughs, and it is. Ben 13 Nov 2004 10:19 Hey Lucy how are ya, I like playing Stingray all the time, he has many different sides to his personality, but I have to admitt I do like doing the more crazy stuff, hey I get to play up and don't get told of for it, what more could any kid want. No unfortunatly I don't have a girlfriend at the moment.

Ben 12 Nov 2004 11:06 Hey anju, cake taker is a replacement for a swear word's, I cant say them on this site but along the lines of idiot or moran, Stingray is a charactor who would use lots of colourful language but this is Neighbours and the real words wouldn't be appropriate lol

Ben 13 Nov 2004 10:27 Hey Luc, I was exstatic when I landed the role, I was really nervous on my first day, if you remember I had to streak, and trust me I really was a bit of string away from being starkas. I thought they were just joking when they asked me how I felt about being naked on my first day, but it all went well if not a bit chilly.

As I live in Wales in the U.K I think we are around 8 weeks behind in the show, so at the moment you've decided to come of your medication, so I was wondering do you think Scott really has ADHD, or is he just naturally hyper?Also do you prefer to play Scott as hyper Scott or 'Normal' Scott?

Last time you were Actor of the Week you said you got two A's in your exams and this time you've said your exams are going great. I guess you must be a clever guy! Do you plan to go to uni when you finish Year 12 next year or are you going to continue acting?
Ben 13 Nov 2004 10:53 How's it going Andy, I'm only doing 3 subjects this year as I did a year 11 subject last year and to pass year 11 ya only have to do 4. So my work load is a little lighter, which is just as well as I only get to school a couple hours a week. It helps that I really like the subjects that I do, media, history and english. I don't have any plans to go to uni, at this stage, I'm just trying to finish year 12 which I will do over 2 years, then I hope to keep acting, fingers crossed anyway, I think getting an education is important so hopefully i'll get through, one semester at a time. Ben
Mr Puck 11 Nov 2004 10:19 Hey Ben, firstly well done on playing the part of Scott so well on Neighbours, his character has to be the best one yet! Like Scott I have a mental illness too, social anxiety disorder (opposite of ADHD though lol). I can relate to Scott's struggle to feel normal and I think it's great that a mental illness is being recognised because of his character...my question is, do you feel you have a responsibility to play the part well because of the ADHD issue?

Ben 12 Nov 2004 10:24 Hi Phil, thanks mate, I think the writer's are doing a great job with Scott's ADHD, I do worry that I'm doing ok portraying someone with ADHD, any issues like this can be difficult for those who are involved, as you know. I think its important for everyone to know that we are all different and not eveyone's life is as smooth as others, what's normal anyway I think we are all a little different in our own way. I hope your doing ok, good luck man. Yeah I miss Adelaide I have lots of friends there its a great place.

Great work since your arrival. Stingray has really begun to grow on me, and I particularly love his relationship with Suze. My question is, what was it like when you walked on set in your first week and met the likes of Carla, Jackie, Alan, Ian and Janet, all fantactic actors who are well established. Were you in awe of this guys and did they quickly welcome you on board.

I noticed that Stingrays mum Janelle is played by Nell Feeney, who previously appeared on the show as Joanne Blair. Can you confirm whether Nell has any scenes with either Carla or Stephen, and if they did have scenes together did anyone of them comment that it seemed strange, as Joanne was Stephs love rival for Max less than 2 years ago.
What was Nell like as Stingrays mum, the character seems a bit of a weirdo.

But seeing as you wanted something original (hehe)I'll ask you how you went in your exams (coz i don't think anyone had the chance to ask you that yet)...If you had any that is ;) I just flunked my drama exam :( but i'm glad to say I won't have to look at the contrast between Blache DuBois and Stanley Kowalski for a long time ( I hope) I also wanted to say that I'm so glad you and Stephanie came to the Royal Adelaide show. Ben 12 Nov 2004 10:44 I started acting when I was 4, started with a bit of modeling and went from there, I don't really dress like Scott although he does have some cool t shirts (nutter) it's great working with everyone we have lots of fun on and of set.

CuTiEeE 16 Nov 2004 11:00 HeY STINGRAY how are you? well ure an awsome actor and i dont know when your gonna get this butt i have a huge favourrr to ask. as you probably know that it is 20th november on saturday and mcdonalds are is raising mchappy day all around different stores! each store tries to raise money for the little ones in hospital. every big mac sold goes towards these ones! this is the last mchappy day ever and we are trying to do our very best to make it absoloutly the best. we have actors and actresses coming down and even rob milz from austrlian idol! we are trying to make it a great day with as many help out as possible for a bit of charity work! it would be great if you could get down to our store! ill let you know the details if you get back to me! would you would be interested in coming down to our store ( as i am part of the commity) and helping out around the store along with any other neighbours stars! it would truly make everyones day!

My cousin bought a magazine called Chik today and told me I had to get it because it has a DVD attached - with you doing a backstage commentary on the Neighbours set!
So I went out and got it like the Neighbours geek I am - It was really great to watch. I was surprised to see how the sets were all lumped together inside and how small the green room was! Do you remember doing that tour for the mag? I think you mentioned it was December on tape so it must have been last year sometime!
I loved the bit where you found the chalk outline of a body on the floor and then you draped yourself across it - very amusing!
And just to make this post even longer (sorry Ben!), I just want to pass on a good luck to all your castmates who are going to be in the Rocky Horror Show this weekend. I've got tickets for the 5:30 show, I can't wait!

I hope you enjoy the Rocky Horror Show on Sat, I have a really small part in it, but I won't be doing the curtain call at the end in the arvo show as I have to get to rehersals for something else, hope you enjoy it

I just wanted to know if Stingray had anymore scenes with Sky coming up. I'm in Oz so I've seen a lot already, but I just think that you and Steph work so well together on screen. You can really tell you're good mates in real life.
Happy Birthday for the 10th as well - It's hard trying to think of what you want, isn't it. Mine's on the 5th and I'm really stumped! It's going to be my 21st so I'm thinking I'll get a lot of vouchers, LOL.

Ben 14 Nov 2004 10:32 Hi again Faye, I moved to melbourne 2 years ago (with my mum and sister Tash its just the three of us) to play the part of the Artful Dodger in Oliver!, we then lived in Singapore for 2 months doing Oliver!. When we got back to Melbourne in May we decided to get an agent and stay in Melbourne till christmas to see if my sister and I could get any acting work. I got a small part in "Scooter" in Sept and then the part of Stingray in October, so hey I'm glad we stayed, thanks mum ha ha.
